A kapitalista rendszer egyik legfontosabb központi eleme a munkaerő újratermelése, illetve az emberi testek feletti uralom, melyeket a nemiség sajátos kapitalista funkciója hivatott biztosítani.
Az idei Budapest Pride-on is megjelent Pink Block nem csupán az LMBTQ+ közösség melletti kiállásról szólt: határozottan felszólalt a munkásság kizsákmányolása ellen, és szembeszállt a nemi és szexuális jogok kapitalista kooptációjával. A vitaindítót tartó szervezők álláspontja szerint az osztályharc és a queer felszabadulás nem ellentétes, hanem szervesen összetartozó küzdelem.
A kapitalizmus a társadalmi mozgalmakat és a szexuális felszabadítási törekvéseket is igyekszik a saját keretei közé szorítani. A vita során a szervezők arra tesznek kísérletet, hogy a munkásmozgalom, a radikális feminizmus és a queer felszabadító mozgalom metszetében vázolják fel egy antikapitalista queer-feminista elmélet és a radikális nemi gyakorlatok kialakításának lehetőségeit.

Organized by non-bolshevik communists and class struggle anarchists, this debate evening aims to provide a space for clashing positions and serve as a point of contact for anti-capitalists based in class struggle.

One of the most important central elements of the capitalist system is the reproduction of the workforce and control over human bodies, which are ensured by the specific capitalist function of gender.
The Pink Block, which took place during this year’s Budapest Pride, did not only stand in solidarity with the LGBTQ+ community: it firmly spoke out against the exploitation of the working class and opposed the capitalist co-optation of gender and sexual rights. The organizers delivering the opening speech argue that class struggle and queer liberation are not contradictory, but organically intertwined struggles.
Capitalism strives to contain social movements and efforts for sexual liberation within its own framework. During the discussion, the organizers aim to outline the possibilities for developing an anti-capitalist queer-feminist theory and radical gender practices at the intersection of the class-struggle labor movement, radical feminism, and the queer liberation movement.
